She balances her schoolwork with playing soccer, most recently on the school's Junior Varsity team, along with working as a student tutor and volunteer work to collect Prom clothes for students in need in her community. She also joined the school's golf developmental team.<\/p><p style=\"top:427px;left:48px;text-align:initial;font-weight:300;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;font-family:Montserrat;color:#000000;width:690px;font-size:14px;line-height:18px;white-space:normal;\" class=\"ls-l ls-text-layer\" data-ls=\"showinfo:1;fadein:false;position:relative;\">Looking ahead, Emma is considering a career in law and politics or STEM. Her interest in politics began during the 2020 presidential campaign when she spent time phone banking for President Joe Biden and will continue through the summer of 2022. She will work as a Field Intern for Wes Moore, who is running for Governor of Maryland, helping to get out the vote, staff the candidate, and more. In addition to her interest in law and politics, Emma's interest in STEM sparked during her sophomore year with classes in the Maker Lab at Bullis, combined with advanced math and science courses. Khadijah will use the money for a new generator to fix her electricity, new equipment such as sewing machines, clothing racks, finance books, and a variety of advertising. The advertising budget is $181, and the infrastructure budget is $1,656.51. Khadijah\u2019s clients will also be paying a downpayment when they purchase clothes so she can avoid debt in the future. The mentorship program will save Khadji money since she doesn\u2019t pay her interns but is still getting help.
