Like his mom, he wants to learn about business, how to be an effective leader, and make smart decisions with no hesitation. He believes having the knowledge of leadership and how to make a successful business is crucial in all areas of life, and is thankful to have such an opportunity. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 200;\">Joao as a rising sophomore at Bullis High School, has achieved a High Honor role in all of his years. He attends the school\u2019s business club and is striving to reach the requirements for the Music\u2019s High Honors Society club. He plans to start his first business and practice his leadership skills. He plays the tuba, a big instrument he is content with that he has played since 7th grade.  <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 200;\">This summer, Joao is delighted to meet all the new people the internship will bring. He is thrilled to finally learn how to make a successful business and be a good leader. He believes that a person\u2019s leadership skills determine how successful they are in all areas of life. One day, he was introduced to a master in the interlocking crafting world and Jibrin was able to convince the master of his devotion to the craft and eagerness to learn. Jibrin was able to learn the business with his master's close observation.<p>\r\n\r\n<p>For 7 years time he practiced under this mentorship, excelling in making different types of interlocks, flower vase and chairs. Rainy conditions consistently delay their operations. The products they manufacture require significant drying time, which is exacerbated by wet weather. Typically, the drying process takes several days, but rain can extend this to 3 to 4 days. This prolonged drying period demands continuous supervision.<p>\r\n\r\n<p>The necessity for active oversight during these extended periods is particularly demanding. These weather-induced delays not only affect production schedules but also increase operational costs. He is married and has one boy child. Jibrin is the 3th child of six children, his father is a retired civil servant and his mother is a full time housewife. He close by in the evening at 6pm, he take his bath and went straight to his part time job which he do from 7pm and close by 10 pm. The business partner is trying his best to support himself and his family.<p>\r\n\r\n<p>Jibrin typically spends more of his income on food for his family, and some of his income goes to his mother medication who is suffering from diabetics and hypertension disease. Jibrin has a 7-year experience in making tiles, solely for the purposes of individuals buying, and being relieved for replacing their floors with high quality products.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.3\">The products are interlock tiles of high quality, reasonable price, and of three different options. There are 30 tiles per meter squared, costing 4500 naira. The main purpose of the product is to be used for flooring, although installation will only be possible through third party or individually. The flooring will be available for ~365 days per year, each having ~10 hours.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.3\">Our mission is to help Jibrin make the best interlocking business in his town, Bauchi Nigeria. Using his core values of sincerity, trustworthiness, and integrity, he will make high-quality, yet reasonably priced tiles that will improve the flooring of any house of which installed. We discussed critical topics including investments, international trade, and human rights. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">While touring the embassy, I learned about the wide range of policy issues and gained a better understanding of the embassy\u2019s role in international development through sustainable and inclusive initiatives. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">My visit to the Mali&#8217;s Embassy was not only educational, but inspiring. She provided us with a crash course in advertising and marketing, in which we learned essential components of an effective marketing campaign.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">Our work with Ms. Brooks was essential in preparing us for our culminating pitch deck presentation.
