He is overjoyed to have the opportunity to learn more about business and help entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa develop ideas for plans and grow their capital for future growth. He hopes to be able to make an impact on communities far from him. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 200;\">As a rising sophomore at Walton High School, Kashyap is involved in many things. He is a part of the Walton STEM Academy, taking the Advanced Math and Science pathway. He is a honor roll student taking Advanced Placement and Honors level courses. He is also a part of many clubs, some which include Distributive Education Clubs of America, Future Business Leaders of America, Mock Trial, Latin Club, Walton Charity Organization, and United Nations International Children&#8217;s Emergency Fund many of which he has won numerous awards in. He is also a member of the Walton Track Team and the Walton Cross Country Team. Outside of school-related activities, he does Tae Kwon Do, in which he instructs younger students and learns himself as a third degree black belt. He also plays Indian Classical Violin and plays flute in the school band. His hobbies include certamen, which he has recently won Harvard Certamen, listening to music, soccer, drawing, video games, chess, and reading. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 200;\">This summer, Kashyap is excited to be able to work with a business owner from Sub-Saharan Africa. He hopes he will be able to gain valuable information in the running of a business and be able to help the business owner and community grow. Kashyap would like to own a business himself in the future and hopes the program will help him understand entrepreneurship. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"learn-more-button-neuro has-text-color\"         <div class=\"business-content-para\">\r\n                    <p>Comfort, a 29-year-old woman from Langtong North Plateau State, has always had a natural talent for hairstyling. Prior to her apprenticeship, she learned by observing others. After completing secondary school, financial difficulties prevented her from pursuing higher education. Instead, she began styling hair for people who lived in her communities, which gradually helped her gain a reputation for her skill.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>As she is a single mother living with her parents in Guru, Bauchi State, she faces daily challenges. Her parents, who sell small household goods at the market, struggle to provide for the family. The absence of her child\u2019s father has made life even more challenging, but Comfort remains focused on her goals. The partnership will help her overcome the significant obstacles she faces. Our infrastructure team conducted a thorough evaluation of her salon\u2019s finances. This allows Comfort to stand apart from her competitors, through the implementation of our strategic long term investments, providing her with the ability to be sustainable longer than other salons around her. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.3\">What sets \u201cComforGlam\u201d apart is Comfort\u2019s care for her costumer. She shows this by providing a welcoming environment with cold drinks, cool air from fans, and reliable service. A big difference from her and other stylists is how she gives discounts to college students showing her care for her community. We presented this idea as a good way for marketing and to help the community and Comfort jumped on board. We have advertised all of this with posters, business card, etc. Our tagline shows this the most with it being \u201c\u201cComfort. Care. Confidence.\u201d which represents everything the business stand for.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.3\">Comfort\u2019s aspiration for \u201cComforGlam\u201d is to perform her services in a welcoming, connective environment where women in the town of Bauchi, Nigeria can feel confident and proud of who they are. As a single mother, she envisions that this business will give her financial freedom, ensuring that her daughter can live a comfortable life. She also wishes to provide her with higher education. Comfort wants her salon to be a place where women can socially interact and have a pleasant experience. We discussed critical topics including investments, international trade, and human rights. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">While touring the embassy, I learned about the wide range of policy issues and gained a better understanding of the embassy\u2019s role in international development through sustainable and inclusive initiatives. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">My visit to the Embassy of Chad was not only educational, but inspiring. She provided us with a crash course in advertising and marketing, in which we learned essential components of an effective marketing campaign.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">Our work with Ms. Brooks was essential in preparing us for our culminating pitch deck presentation.
