She is honored and excited to use this opportunity to expand her knowledge in business processes and network with likeminded peers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 200;\">Anisha is a proud Girl Scout who has received her Bronze and Silver awards &#8211; she is currently on track to receive her Gold award by January 2025. She is also an avid gymnast, and has placed at meets across the country. Anisha is not only dedicated to her own achievements but also passionate about sharing her love for gymnastics with others. She spends her free time working as a gymnastics coach, inspiring and mentoring young athletes to reach their full potential in the sport. Anisha plans to pursue a degree in Management Information Systems, and hopes to use her education in this field to become a pillar of leadership in the business community, utilizing her strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive innovation in organizations while creating a culture of inclusivity and collaboration.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 200;\">Anisha is eager to research business processes and aid in the development of a small business. By discussing first-hand the challenges our partner faced, our team successfully and efficiently began to brainstorm solutions to launch their business.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">Each morning we held constructive discussions about our ideas, the advice we received the day before, and the timeline necessary to begin implementing our ideas in real-time.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">The on-staff project coordinators and business development experts helped facilitate the ideation process and ensured our team asked the right questions to produce tangible results.<\/p>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-atbs-tab atbs__tab-panel\" role=\"tabpanel\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-labelledby=\"Ugandan Embassy\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lichangesummer.org\/2024studentsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Untitled-design-77.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8143 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">I had the unique opportunity to visit the Ugandan Embassy, where I learned about diplomatic relations between Uganda and the United States.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">The embassy serves as a hub for collaboration with partner countries and international organizations, which facilitates the creation of solutions to address global issues, such as poverty, gender inequality, and climate change. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">Ugandan diplomats and officials work closely with local communities to identify needs and design programs that empower individuals and enhance overall societal well-being. We discussed critical topics including investments, international trade, and human rights. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">While touring the embassy, I learned about the wide range of policy issues and gained a better understanding of the embassy\u2019s role in international development through sustainable and inclusive initiatives. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">My visit to the Embassy of Switzerland was not only educational, but inspiring. She provided us with a crash course in advertising and marketing, in which we learned essential components of an effective marketing campaign.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-custom-lineheight\" style=\"font-size:17px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300;line-height:1.2\">Our work with Ms. Brooks was essential in preparing us for our culminating pitch deck presentation.
