Dr. Richardson headed the FBI Laboratory's chemical/biological response team (HMRU), served as the coordinator for NBC scientific assets at the Atlanta Olympic Games, assisted in the formulation of congressional budget requests for the FBI Laboratory's counter-terrorism needs, and testified before the US Senate Judiciary Committee regarding use of polygraphs. Upon retiring from the FBI after 25 years, Dr. Richardson moved to the Shenandoah Valley and began teaching forensic science, criminology, and physiology.
