<p style=”font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 200;”>As a rising sophomore at Del Norte High School, Ruta is a hard-worker, dedicated to taking Advanced Placement and Honor courses. Currently, Ruta Sirdeshmukh is part of multiple school clubs including DECA and Speech and Debate. This year, Ruta participated in prestigious Debate tournaments at many schools such as Stanford and UC Berkeley. Along with this, she was one of the overall finalists in the Marketing Team Decision Making event in her DECA Districts tournament. She is currently working with her friends on starting a fundraising club for orphanages in India which she hopes to launch the coming academic year. She enjoys being part of the newly started Varsity Badminton team at her school as she has been playing the sport for a few years. Additionally, Ruta performs Western and Indian classical singing outside of school, participating in yearly competitions. </p>

Ruta is looking forward to meeting other students at the Internship, learning about their backgrounds and what they are looking to pursue. In the future, Ruta would like to go into the Business and Entrepreneurship sector of Data science, hoping to create an impact on the world using new technology such as AI. </p>

SIRI offers lower-priced, high-quality products made from modern equipment and preceded by personalized customer service; both of which are desirable and essential to the impoverished communities of Bauchi State, increasing and sustaining Musa’s customer base. A critical problem that Musa faces is lack of a proper bookkeeping system to supervise the progress of his business and make informed, effective business and finance decisions. Lastly, lack of advanced fabrication equipment and supplies limits Musa’s production capabilities and hinders profit returns.</p>
