International Leadership & Business Internship
Partner with a small business
The Program
The International Leadership and Business Internship is a first-of-its-kind program that pairs motivated high school students with corporate leaders to develop solutions for real-world problems faced by businesses in developing nations.
Throughout the internship, students will meet with leading executives and distinguished professors along with international development experts from NGOs and premier institutions. Interns will gain hands-on entrepreneurial skills by developing unique solutions to problems their business partners are facing.
For their final project, students address challenges their business partner is facing by researching and designing potential solutions and presenting these solutions to a panel of business development experts. Top proposals will receive a grant to enact their solutions over a one-year period.
Interns will present solution designs to a grant committee on the final day of their internship. Top solutions, will be selected by the grant committee and receive full funding in the fall of 2021. With these grants, interns will create business opportunities to transform their lives
