Making a Global Difference: Zoya Batra’s Georgetown Experience

While most students spent their summer catching up on sleep or hanging out with friends, Lambert High School senior Zoya Batra spent a week at Georgetown University taking part in the Advanced Medical Public Health Internship. The program gave her the chance to enhance her medical skills and work with doctors and patients in Nigeria through telehealth.

Ngo Sets Up Multi Million Naira Businesses For Over 100 Bauchi Youths

A non-profit organisation, Leadership Initiative, has trained over 100 youths in various skilled areas and established fully funded businesses in Bauchi State.

The Programme Coordinator of the Initiative, Muhammad Auwal Yakubu made this known at the official handing over of the starter packs for the 2023 beneficiaries on Wednesday.
He said that the organisation is establishing young business owners to become community leaders and impact others through their skills.
