Our programs would not be possible without our wonderful staff. Many of our Summer Internship Program Alumni choose to come back to our programs as staff, and help shape the next generation of brilliant minds.

Attend two Leadership Initiatives Summer Internship Programs. You can attend your second program the same summer you staff your first program. (Waived if graduated from high school)
You must be 16 years old by June 28th, 2026 to work as a Teaching Assistant.
You must be 15 years old by June 28th, 2026 to work on the Operations Team.
Ability to mentor and inspire peers.
Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment and willingness to work long hours.
All staff members receive free housing and food for the duration of their summer contract.
First year staff work in an unpaid leadership role, and will receive 60 hours of community service for a one-week staff position. Returning staff are paid based on the number of weeks worked. College staff additionally receive assistance in their graduate school applications and test prep.

Opportunity to impact students’ lives and contribute to their leadership development.
Network with fellow TAs, program staff, and industry professionals.
Travel compensation is available for returning staff members. Many of our new staff choose to work the week directly following their participation in an internship as staff travel is not included for during their first year.
