2027 Leadership Initiatives Summer Internship Program Scholarships

Leadership Initiatives offers scholarships to high school students from rising freshmen to graduating seniors for our Summer Internship Programs. All general scholarship applications will be closed on March 15th, with recipients announced at a later date. DECA, FBLA, and HOSA exclusive scholarships are open to organization members until April 1st, 2027.

Amazon International Leadership & Business Internship Scholarship

The Amazon Business Scholarship aims to uplift high-achieving DECA students interested in business, entrepreneurship, and accounting.

The scholarship will provide one student with a full scholarship to attend the Leadership Initiatives International Leadership & Business Internship.

Benore Futures in AI & Medical Innovation Scholarship

Benore Futures in AI Medical Innovation Scholarship aims to amplify Nicholas’ efforts to promote careers at the intersection of health, technology, and innovation. This scholarship is designed to empower students who are passionate about advancing medical science through the use of artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and creative problem-solving in healthcare.

One annual scholarship recipient will be selected to receive a full scholarship to attend the AI & Medical Innovation Internship from July 18th - July 24th, 2027 or July 25th - July 31st, 2027.

Benore Young Advocates Scholarship

The Benore Young Advocates Scholarship aims to amplify board member Nicholas Benore's efforts to improve criminal justice issues through youth advocacy. This scholarship is designed to empower students to pursue careers in advocacy while remaining cognizant of the importance of equality in the justice system.

One full scholarship and ten partial scholarships will be awarded to attend the Leadership Initiatives Criminal Law & Trial Internship.

Elizabeth Stefan Health Innovation Memorial Scholarship

The Elizabeth Stefan Health Innovation Memorial Scholarship honors Elizabeth’s dedication to advancing health and wellness. It supports individuals passionate about improving health outcomes through innovation, compassion, and community engagement.

The Elizabeth Stefan Health Innovation Memorial Scholarship will award one full scholarship and ten partial scholarships to attend the Advanced Medical & Public Health Internship.

Emerging Leaders in Business Scholarship Fund

The Emerging Leaders in Business Scholarship aims to further promote Nicole’s efforts to expand educational opportunities to students interested in business, entrepreneurship, and accounting. The scholarship is designed to support and empower high school students who share Nicole’s commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs around the world.

The Emerging Leaders in Business Scholarship will award one full scholarship for the Leadership Initiatives International Leadership & Business Internship. The Emerging Leaders in Business Scholarship Fund will also award ten partial scholarships to promising students to attend the internship program.

For the International Leadership & Business Internship

Garcia-Giordano Scholarship in Public Health and Medicine

The Garcia-Giordano Scholarship in Public Health and Medicine honors Ms. Jocelyn Garcia and Dr. James Giordano’s shared commitment to health equity, scientific excellence, and compassionate care. This scholarship supports ambitious aspiring leaders, with a focus on empowering Native American scholars from the Navajo reservation in New Mexico, as they pursue higher education in STEM, public health, and medicine.

One full scholarship to the Advanced Medical & Public Health Internship will be awarded.

Kostecki Memorial Scholarship

The Kostecki Memorial Scholarship aims to honor Dr. Paul Kostecki's passion for education, scientific research, and medical advancement. This scholarship will support deserving students who share these same qualities in an effort to advance medical innovation and research.

The scholarship will provide one student with a full scholarship to attend the Leadership Initiatives Advanced Medical Neuroscience Internship. Ten partial scholarships will also be awarded to deserving students.

Kuehn Excellence in Security and Service Scholarship

The Kuehn Excellence in Security and Service Scholarship aims to further Rick’s efforts to expand educational opportunities to students interested in national security and international relations. The scholarship is designed to support and empower high school students who share Rick’s commitment to address the complex challenges of today’s security landscape.

One full scholarship and ten partial scholarships will be awarded to attend the Leadership Initiatives National Security & Diplomacy Internship.

Linda Carullo Memorial Scholarship

The Linda Carullo Memorial Scholarship aims to honor Linda's passion for education, her commitment to serving others, and her enduring love for her family. This scholarship will support deserving students who share these same qualities.

One full scholarship and ten partial scholarships will be awarded to attend the Leadership Initiatives Advanced Medical & Public Health Internship.

Marshall Bailly "Senior" Memorial Scholarship

The Marshall Bailly “Senior” Memorial Scholarship aims to continue Marshall's legacy by offering a full scholarship for the Advanced Medical & Public Health Internship. This scholarship is designed to support and empower high school students who share Marshall's commitment to excellence, hands-on learning, and community building, and who want to make a difference in others' lives.

The scholarship will provide one student with a full scholarship and ten students with partial scholarships to attend the Leadership Initiatives Advanced Medical & Public Health Internship.

Microsoft YouthSpark Cybersecurity & Business Consulting Scholarship

The Microsoft YouthSpark Business Cybersecurity Internship Scholarship is designed for ambitious students ready to transform the world through deep dives into the power of artificial intelligence and its transformative potential across businesses.

The scholarship will provide one student with a full scholarship to attend the Leadership Initiatives Cybersecurity & Business Consulting Internship. Ten partial scholarships will also be awarded.

Ocbina Cybersecurity Innovators Scholarship

The Ocbina Cybersecurity Innovators Scholarship aims to amplify Blushel’s efforts to provide real-world educational opportunities to deserving students. This scholarship is designed to empower students to pursue emerging careers in cybersecurity and technological innovation while continuing to promote equity and leadership opportunities.

One full scholarship and ten partial scholarships will be awarded to attend the Leadership Initiatives Cybersecurity & Business Consulting Internship.

Ocbina Pioneers in Business Scholarship

By bridging academic learning with real-world experience, this scholarship empowers students to become effective innovators and changemakers in the field of business

One full scholarship and ten partial scholarships will be awarded to attend the Leadership Initiatives AI & Business Strategy Internship.
